NoBroker.com's revenue surpassed ₹1,000 crore in the last fiscal year, the company's co-founder and CEO Amit Kumar Agarwal stated. He told PTI the proptech startup aims to achieve profitability within the next eight to ten months.

Founded in 2013, the Bengaluru-based platform operates a brokerage-free model for property listings related to renting, buying, and selling. Agarwal highlighted that revenue grew to ₹965 crore in 2024-25 from ₹888 crore the year before. This growth helped reduce annual losses by 25 to 30 percent, bringing them down to approximately ₹300 crore.

Agarwal asserted that losses are declining each fiscal year through a combination of rising revenue and cost optimization. The company's entire focus is currently on reaching profitability. Consequently, it is not looking to raise fresh funds from investors or launch an initial public offering at this stage. An IPO could be considered after profitability is achieved.

Revenue Streams and Business Verticals

When asked for a revenue breakdown, Agarwal said about half originates from the core buy, sell, and rent vertical. Many customers in this segment opt for paid plans to access better leads. The remaining 50 percent of revenue is generated by newer service verticals.

These include Packers & Movers, home services, home interiors, and the society management platform NoBrokerHood. Agarwal described these as high-potential areas that are becoming significant growth engines. The company's focus is to scale these businesses and evolve into a broader platform for consumers' real estate needs.

Geographic and Operational Footprint

NoBroker's core real estate services are present in six major Indian cities: Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi-NCR. Its society management platform, NoBrokerHood, has a wider reach across 11 cities.

This expansion into ancillary services complements its primary marketplace.

Funding History and Unicorn Status

The company attained unicorn status in November 2021 after raising $210 million in a funding round led by investors General Atlantic and Tiger Global. That round valued the startup at $1 billion, making it the first unicorn in India's proptech sector.

To date, NoBroker has raised a total of $361 million in funding. The founders are Akhil Gupta, Amit Kumar Agarwal, and Saurabh Garg, all alumni of IITs and IIMs.
