Khetika, a homegrown clean-food brand, is stepping up investments in spices, targeting Rs 1,000 crore annual revenue from the category within three years. The company plans to make spices its biggest growth engine and build a Rs 2,000 crore spices business over five years.
Investment and Expansion
The company has invested Rs 10 crore in a 15,000 sq ft pesticide-free spices manufacturing facility and advanced quality lab in Unjha, Gujarat, with an initial capacity of 500 MT. It plans to scale investments in the facility and related infrastructure to Rs 100 crore over the next three years as demand grows. According to Dr. Prithwi Singh, co-founder and CEO, Khetika, spices would be the largest division in the future, and the market is huge.
Revenue Projections
Khetika currently operates seven manufacturing units, including four fresh-product facilities in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai. Its portfolio spans batters, healthy snacks, dry fruits, makhanas, and spices, with the three major categories currently contributing roughly equally to revenue. However, the company expects this mix to change significantly, with spices projected to contribute 50 per cent of overall revenue in the next 3-4 years.
Growth Drivers
The company expects to close the current fiscal at around Rs 500 crore revenue, up from Rs 375 crore in FY26. Online channels are expected to contribute Rs 120-150 crore this year. Exports are also expected to become another significant growth driver, with Khetika already having entered the UK with its healthy-snacking range and planning to launch spices in Europe and expand into the Middle East. The following table summarizes the company's revenue projections:

The company is simultaneously expanding its farmer ecosystem through the Khetika SAATHI programme, which currently covers around 20,000 farmers and is targeted to reach 50,000. Khetika has four SAATHI centres in Rajasthan and plans to add two more shortly, followed by expansion into Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh. The company also expects to achieve EBITDA profitability in Q4 of the current fiscal year, while continuing to invest in capacity, brand building, and distribution.
