Wipro Consumer Care Acquires 60% Stake in Dermatouch for Rs 387.5 Crore
Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has announced the acquisition of a 60% stake in premium skincare brand Dermatouch at an enterprise value of Rs 387.5 crore. The remaining 40% will be acquired over the next three years.

Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has made a significant move in the retail space by announcing the acquisition of a 60% stake in premium skincare brand Dermatouch. The acquisition is valued at Rs 387.5 crore, marking Wipro's entry into the digital-first segment.
The acquisition follows Wipro's recent purchases of Good Home and Eva from TTK Healthcare, as well as S Brands Consumer Care, a Philippines-based personal care company, earlier this month.
Dermatouch, founded by Anish Nagpal and Amit Purswani, offers accessible, dermatology-backed skin solutions with a focus on efficacy. Its portfolio addresses concerns like pigmentation, acne and sun protection, offering formats spanning face washes, soaps, serums and creams.
The founders and management team will continue operating the brand during the three-year transition period. This move is seen as an exciting opportunity for Wipro as its first foray into digital brands.
According to CEO Kumar Chander, Dermatouch represents an exciting opportunity for Wipro as its first foray into digital brands. He stated that the company has been clear that it would only look at digital brands that have the potential to expand offline, which Dermatouch has already proven.
Combining the brand's "innovation-led approach" with Wipro's capabilities will help achieve its next phase of scale, he added.
Dermatouch reported a revenue of Rs 131 crore in fiscal 2026, up 114% from the previous year.
