Onitsuka Tiger has opened its largest global flagship store in Tokyo's Shinjuku district. The 1,837sqm store opens as parent company Asics plans to transfer the brand to a new subsidiary next year.

Onitsuka Tiger has opened its largest global flagship store in Tokyo's Shinjuku district. The 1,837-square-meter store spans four levels and houses the brand's Heritage, Contemporary, and The Onitsuka formal footwear collections.
The opening follows an announcement by parent company Asics that it will transfer the Onitsuka Tiger business into a wholly owned subsidiary, OT Group, effective January 1 next year. The flagship is designed with a 'vertical narrative' concept by Milan-based Studio Dini Cataldi, blending Japanese craftsmanship with Italian design. A Tiger Yellow concrete facade aims to establish the building as a new local landmark.
Laneige Seoul reopens with custom beauty tech
Laneige has reopened its Seoul flagship store after an 18-month redevelopment. The new concept store combines retail, beauty services, and on-demand manufacturing focused on personalisation.
Shoppers can create personalised skincare and makeup using AI-powered diagnostics and in-store production. The Neo Experience offers custom Neo Cushions colour-matched from 150 shades and produced on site by a robot. For skincare, customers receive an AI skin analysis leading to a customised Cream Skin toner, selected from 25 formulations and blended in-store in about 20 minutes.
"Laneige Seoul is our perception of what the future of beauty, technology and design looks like," said Laneige brand president Pilkyung Choi.
Adidas Originals debuts Bangkok flagship on Song Wat
Adidas has opened a new flagship store in a two-storey building on Bangkok's Song Wat retail strip. The store retains the original structure, incorporating contemporary design elements that reference the area's trading history.
Display props include pushcarts and goods sacks reminiscent of the district's past. According to Bangkok production house Pia Creations, a red pillar installation in the launch zone is modelled on the red columns lining Song Wat Road. The ground floor features themed retail zones and a Maker Lab for on-site customisation of footwear and denim.
The upper floor houses a café from the Kyoto-founded chain % Arabica. Adidas describes the pairing as its first combined retail-and-café concept in Southeast Asia and its first street location in Thailand. Weekend events like DJ sets and a rap battle are planned to animate the space.
Lacoste launches flagship in Hong Kong's Pedder Building
Lacoste has opened a flagship store in Central Hong Kong, located within the historic Grade I-listed Pedder Building. The brand stated the store combines its heritage with Hong Kong's cultural identity.
The interior reinterprets the building's signature arches to create dedicated sections for womenswear, menswear, sport, and polo collections. It also features artwork by Hong Kong-based artist Alvin CK Lam and furniture made from upcycled tennis balls by Belgian artist Mathilde Wittock.
"With this new flagship, we wanted to express Lacoste's identity in a way that resonates with Hong Kong's cultural vitality," said Éric Vallat, CEO of Lacoste. The store reflects a lifestyle shaped by movement, elegance and freedom, according to the brand.
