Consumer Startups Raise Over Rs 300 Crore in Weekly Funding

Consumer startups across India have raised more than Rs 300 crore in funding this week. The investments span categories including food delivery, footwear, beverages, spirits, pet care, and beauty.
Swish, a 10-minute food delivery platform, led the funding round by securing $24 million, or nearly Rs 225 crore. The investment was led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from existing backers Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, and Hara Global. The company stated it will use the capital to expand its kitchen network, strengthen its supply-chain infrastructure, and enter new cities. Swish also reported that its monthly orders have tripled since March and have crossed the one million mark.
Footwear and Accessories Brand Secures Funding
Theater, a footwear and accessories brand, raised Rs 75 crore in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Niveshaay and saw participation from new investor Physis Capital and existing investors like Prath Ventures. This round values Theater at Rs 410 crore post-money. The company plans to use the funds to expand its presence in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities and to support brand-building initiatives, including celebrity partnerships and marketing campaigns.
FMCG Startups Gather Capital

Beauty Brand Investment and Strategy
Beauty brand Peep Beauty raised Rs 12 crore and onboarded actress Tripti Dimri as an investor and co-creator. The company is targeting the coloured contact lens segment. It plans to sell products through its direct-to-consumer platform, online marketplaces, and quick-commerce platforms. Additionally, Peep Beauty aims to build distribution through collaborations with content creators, makeup artists, and other cultural influencers.
